Jeannie Evans, D.O.
Jeannie Evans, D.O., initially wanted to become a physician when she was in middle school. However, during the undergrad portion of her education, she changed courses and went into education. After teaching high school for 8 years, she realized that her true passion was medicine and she went back to school and accomplished her dream of becoming a doctor.
Jeannie chose to specialize in family medicine because of the variability and challenges. She sees patients at all stages of their life and especially enjoys helping children and adolescents with psychiatric conditions. Her practice philosophy is that a person is more than the sum of his/her parts or disease states, and therefore deserves to be treated as a partner in their health.
In Jeannie’s spare time she enjoys reading, camping, and spending time with loved ones.
